"Takkan melayu hilang di dunia " ..

"Takkan melayu hilang di dunia " ..
I really think that we should not read the phrase but rather read into the phrase.Read about Hang Tuah but do not dwell too much on his fighting abilities or his superhuman powers. He is so much more than himself. A highly literated individual whom have travelled beyond the Sultan himself.I believed deeply in what he has said.

Malay is a collective race. It is more of a culture that binds every sub creed and dialect groups together. The peninsular especially has been a melting pot of many cultures from different parts of the world. Our language (one we used today) has been influenced by many other languages and spoken dialects. Our rituals are results of melting hindu customs and Islamic regulations.

Our food is adapted from different racial tongues. The tempeh, its actually the technique of preserving Soya beans which comes from the Southern Chinese. The Javanese have it modified and called the tempeh their own. Where the tahu does comes from? The batik is not Indonesian altogether.. find out the similarities of the concept design with the Japanese art. You will know why.Why dwell so much who is taking over our culture?

A culture and its customs are a reflection of how a group of beings live but not how they should live. Culture and customs evolves and not revolves. As long as we understood and follow the conventions of universal values, the Malays can be much more dynamic. What we should focus now is to bring up (further) the social status of our race.

Remove ourselves from being stereotyped.Be a global citizen with peace in mind. Do not let the radicals get what they wanted. Comprehend and embrace the teachings of Islam. love others sincerely.

Barulah Melayu yang tidak hilang di dunia ini, bertapak di puncak dunia Ilahi.

Ikhlas
